Special attention is needed here:
Hong Kong residents, Macao residents, Taiwan residents, overseas Chinese, and foreigners who apply for divorce registration shall, in addition to presenting the marriage certificate and divorce agreement in the preceding paragraph, Hong Kong residents, Macao residents, and Taiwan residents shall also present their own valid pass and ID card. Overseas Chinese and foreigners should also present their valid passports or other valid international travel documents.
2. Litigation for divorce.
The so-called divorce litigation means that one party goes to the people’s court where the other party lives for a long time to file a lawsuit for divorce. Prepare a copy of the marriage certificate, ID card, and household register, write a bill of complaint and submit it to the court filing division for filing, and then wait. The court summons and verdicts.
When filing a lawsuit or responding to a divorce case, the parties must provide the following supporting materials:
Name, gender, date of birth, identity certificate (including ID card, work permit or residence booklet), etc.;

The divorce procedures of foreign-related agreements need to go to the department determined by the civil affairs department of the people's government of the province, autonomous region, and municipality to handle the divorce procedure.
